faq

does stampede hold my funds?

no. swaps are built by jupiter's api and signed in your own wallet. stampede never has your keys and never has custody of anything you own.

which tokens can i trade?

solana tokens: SOL, USDC, USDT, JUP, BONK, WIF, JitoSOL, mSOL, RAY and PYTH, plus any token you paste by its mint address (those show a warning because anyone can create a token). bitcoin, ethereum and the other coins on the markets chart are there for price tracking and cannot be traded here directly.

what does it cost?

solana network fees and whatever the routes jupiter picks charge are built into the quote you see before you confirm. stampede adds no fee of its own. the page also keeps 0.01 SOL back in your wallet so you can always pay network fees.

what is slippage?

the most the price can move against you between the quote and the trade. if it moves further, the trade fails instead of filling at a worse price. the page caps it at 5%.

how does the page protect me?

before a transaction reaches your wallet the page checks that it is a jupiter swap, that it only needs your signature, and that it pays fees from your account. it also blocks very high price impact and asks you to confirm warnings. you should still read what your wallet shows before you approve.

why are the prices not loading?

prices come from coingecko. if they do not load, check your connection or ad blocker and press retry in the markets section. coingecko limits how often a page can ask, so wait a minute if it keeps failing.

which wallets work?

phantom, solflare, backpack and other wallets that support the wallet standard and can sign solana transactions.
